NATIONAL men’s long jumper Andwuelle Wright has faced some adversity in his life, but the Tobagonian uses it as his driving force to make further leaps in the sport.

TT’s Amari Ash was recently crowned the 2019 Central American and Caribbean Amateur Confederation (CCCAN) Championships 11-12 50-metre freestyle gold medallist.

AMARI Ash, 13, moved from being afraid of swimming to representing and medalling for TT at international competitions. She is the 2019 Central American and Caribbean Amateur Confederation (CCCAN) Championships 11-12 50-metre freestyle gold medallist.

THE TT Olympic Committee (TTOC), on Friday, announced the team for the 2019 TT Pan Am Games. A total of 98 athletes (58 male, 48 female), will represent TT at the Games in Lima, Peru, which will be held from July 26 to August 11.

Tokyo 2020

TEAM TTO has been assured of a gold medal at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan. Twelve years after their second place finish at the 2008 Beijing Games, sprinters Richard Thompson, Marc Burns, Emmanuel Callender and Keston Bledman will receive their 4x100m relay gold.
