ATHLETES' FORUM 2026 - REP YOUR TEAM!
We're excited to welcome you to the Athletes' Commission 2026 Forum -- Rep Your Team! A two-part experience designed to support NSOs in navigating the development and integration of athlete commissions and representatives.
Date: February 28, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: National Racquet Centre, Tacarigua

NSOs with established Athlete Representatives: If your NSO already has an established Athlete Representative or Athletes' Commission, please send your current representative(s) to attend the Forum.
NSOs establishing new representation: Use the eligibility criteria below to guide your selection process.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Athlete Status
(Meet at least ONE)
- Current member of national team/training squad
- Competed at national level within past 2 years
- Participated in regional or international competitions within the last two Olympic cycles (Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024), including:
- Olympic Games
- Pan American Games
- Commonwealth Games
- Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games
- ODESUR Games
- Other continental or regional multisport games
- Retired (within 4 years) with maintained connection to sport
Age & Standing
- 18 years or older
- Member in good standing with NSO (no current suspensions or unresolved conflicts)
Competitive Experience
(Meet at least ONE)
- Represented Trinidad and Tobago at international competitions (e.g., Olympic Games, World Championships, Continental Championships)
- Represented Trinidad and Tobago at regional competitions (e.g., Pan American Games, Commonwealth Games, CAC Games, ODESUR Games)
- Competed at national championships for minimum 3 consecutive years
- Consistent member of national training program for at least 3 years
- Achieved podium finishes or top rankings at national, regional, or international level
