Ms. Lovie Santana-Duke, Senior was appointed as TeamTTO’s Chef de Mission (head of delegation) for the first ever Sand and Beach Games which kicks off 19th November in Santa Marta, Colombia.
Ms. Santana-Duke who currently serves as TTOC’s Senior Administrative Officer for the past twelve years, was also the Chef De Mission for the 2018 CAC Games in Barranquilla, Columbia and assistant Chef De Mission for the Rio De Janiero 2016 Olympic Games as well as the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic, 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games and the Commonwealth Games.
She also supported the TeamTTO delegation as an administrative assistant in the preparation for the 2014 Commonwealth Games held in Glasgow, Scotland and 2015 Pan American Games held in Toronto Canada.
The Under 23 Sand and Beach Games, historic event for Centro Caribe Sports where TeamTTO will be competing in five (5) of the ten (10) sports on the 10 sporting programmes.
The team comprising of 31 persons in size with 20 athletes and 10 officials, inclusive of two medical officers, Kionne Franklyn (Doctor) and Brent Elder (Massage Therapist) and one social media personnel, Ms. Melanie Gulston.
